The BVMS Student Advisory Board met today to look at stakeholder input and came to a consensus on an idea that they want to focus on this year to make BVMS a better place!!! This year's Student Advisory Board focus is campus amenities and activities!! #LEADERSHIPOPPORTUNITIES.#STUDENTVOICE
BVMS currently has 31 8th graders enrolled in the Beyond the Equations Program. These student collaborate with SPHS math students twice a week before school and work on advanced skills that prepare them for the iReady and CAASPP assessments as well as giving them an opportunity to prepare for an exam that would allow them to test out of Math 1 in High School. #COMMUNITYPARTNER #ETHICALSCHOLARS

Thank you to Mrs. Griffith's 6th grade science class for hosting the LR Green 5th graders today and supporting their RIASEC journey. Today they were INVESTIGATORS and worked along side the BVMS 6th graders collaborating on a microscope activity.
At BVMS this year our staff is working extremely hard on ways to implement Student Voice into the classroom daily. Once a month we introduce staff to various strategies that they can use in the classroom and add them to our Student Voice Toolbox!
